In the end of 2013 the participants of the international Comenius project “Save the past, live the present, imagine the future” met in ISMA. Schoolchildren and teachers from Turkey, Greece, Poland, Croatia, Romania and Bulgaria came to visit us. 

The guests had an opportunity to get acquainted with the history of our beautiful city, to stroll through the narrow streets of Old Riga, to visit museums, and to enjoy the view of the city from the TV tower – the highest in Europe.

Educational interactive games were the part of the project. The games were prepared by the teachers of our school Premjers. Children also made presentations on the topic “Ethnic minorities in my country”.

During the meeting we became friends and learned a lot about the traditions, culture, everyday life, and educational systems of participating countries. We also gained invaluable experience of international communication and teamwork in multi-cultural environment.
