  Project objectives

- to help form an ecological attitude towards nature
- to raise the awareness of the importance of energy saving, finding alternative sources of energy, recycling
- to improve the English language skills
- to develop knowledge about the diversity of the European cultures, languages and values
- to expand students' comprehension about green future and European integration

TRANSNATIONAL ACTIVITIES

  • November, 2018 – Teachers' training in Turkey (5 teachers).
  • March, 2019 – LTTA 1 (Learning Teaching Training Activity) in Bulgaria (9 students and 3 teachers).
  • October, 2019 – LTTA 2 in Romania (9 students and 3 teachers).
  • April, 2020 – LTTA 3 in Latvia.

LOCAL ACTIVITIES

  • Regular meetings and workshops with the project group members.
  • Logo contest.
  • Creation of informative posters.Creation of Erasmus+ corner.
  • Writing essays on the topics “Energy is Everything”, “The Planet is Alive”.
  • Research of the renewable energy sources (presentation).
  • Reports on the following topics: What and how to recycle and by doing this to save energy; Ways to store energy; How to save energy at home and at school.An interactive map with the renewable energy sources in Latvia.
  • Exhibition of the products from recycled materials.A photo exhibition “For a Clean World”.
  • A visualization of the future life on Earth.Exhibition of models of renewable energy sources.
  • A campaign “Let's Save Nature” - cleaning up the area around the school.
  • Regular updating of information on project activities and examples of good practices on Facebook group page and partner school websites.
